Don’t be intimidated by the Daffodil Daydream stamp & die set. There are several pieces to die cut but it goes together quickly! Let me show you how!
Have you seen this new Thirty-One tiny utility tote? Got it from the Columbus Expo at the Inspiration Inn Bloom booth. I am using it for my Cuttle Bug and plates. Works great! (Link)
Recently purchased this Stampin’ Up set called Daffodil Daydreams with coordinating dies.
Using light and dark yellow paper, I used the dies used to make beautiful daffodils for a Mother’s Day card. Used a couple of colors of greens for the stems.
The stamps included say “Happy Mother’s Day” and “Easter Blessings”. Both great greetings for a daffodil layout. Added a decorative trim around the edge of the card with a Rubbernecker freehand border stamp (Link).
Use magnetic sheets to store dies inside the stamp case. Very handy to keep the dies with the stamp set. (Link)
I used Michael’s 110 Kraft heavyweight cardstock 8.5″x11″ for the card base. The 110lb paper is thick and sturdy for a card base. Frequently I use Kraft, Black, and White for card bases. (Link)
Tools I used:
- Versafine Black Onyx Ink
- Mini Misti Stamp Positioner
- We R Memory Keepers Score Board
- Fiskars scissors
- Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue
