I am asked all the time how I get such a crisp clear stamp image on my cards. It’s the Black Onyx Ink from VersaFine. You can make it shine using Clear Dry Embossing Powder. Here’s how!
My favorite ink to use is called “Versafine Onyx Black”. This creates a crisp solid black color when stamping sentiments and images.
Using a MISTI stamp positioning tool, I can restamp if I miss any part of the stamp. It’s also great for when you are mass-producing cards. Remember to place your paper down in the corner each time so it lines up!
Once I have inked my stamp and pressed onto the paper, I will dip the paper into the clear dry embossing powder. This powder consists of crystals that will melt and make a great impression.
By using the heat tool, the dry embossing powder will melt. Heat up the gun before you start using it on your image. This will prevent warping. Keep moving the heat tool so that you don’t scorch your paper.
