Easy Infinity Card

Have you seen these fun infinity cards? They fold and keep on folding. There are a total of four card fronts and it looks very difficult to make – but they are very easy — ok, once you get the hang of it! Here’s how!

Supplies

  • 6 x 6 paper pack of coordinating colors
  • ephemera for decorating
  • scissors
  • liquid glue or double sided tape
  • scor pal
  • paper trimmer

Card Base

First cut (qty 4) 3 x 6 papers in contrasting colors. A 6 x 6 paper pad works great for this type of card.

Now score at 1-1/2″ on all 4 pieces.

Glue in the corners on bottom 2 matching pieces.

Attach other 2 pieces in the opposite direction.

Let the glue dry for a minute, then fold on all the score lines.

Card Mats

Next, you will need the following pieces to decorate the sides of the card:

  • (qty 4) 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
  • (qty 12) 2 3/4″ 1 3/8″
  • (qty 16) 1 3/8″ x 1 /38″

Add to each page, paying close attention to the top of the card for any patterns with direction.

Notice there are FOUR cards, that you can keep flipping and flipping. How fun!

Decorate

Now that you have all the sides with colorful mats on them, hopefully your card is opening better as the paper becomes more trained.

Decorate using your ephemera. This fun card will be sure to entertain the person that receives the card!
