Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set

Starting to make my Christmas card and decided to use the Stamp Set called Peaceful Boughs that I purchased last year. The simple card turned out great. Take a look!

Here’s my steps:

1. Cut card base to 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ from Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock
2. Score card base at 5 1/2″
3. Stamp sentiments using Versafine Black Onyx ink
4. Use clear embossing powder to make the sentiment pop
5. Use sentiments on the inside of the card to complete the look
6. Die cut the branch and pine cones. For my machine, I used an extra piece of cardstock to shim the intricate dies. Also, rolling through the machine forwards and back again helped.
7. Glue the layers of the pine cones. Noticed I used a light for the background and a dark brown for the top layer for dimension.
8. Use Versamark (clear ink) and white embossing powder for the look of snow.
9. Apply the white embossing powder on the branch and pine cones.
10. Melt the embossing powder with your heat tool. Heat just long enough to melt to avoid burning and warping your paper.
11. Glue down the branch on the card front using Tombow liquid glue.
12. While the branch dries using the Make Art Station, pop-up the pine cones with dimensionals.
13. Place the pine cones hanging down from the branch.
14. Here’s the completed card!
