Sunburst Christmas Cards

Today I went to a crop with friends and learned how to make a sunburst card. I decided it was an awesome layout for some Christmas Cards. Here’s how I made them! Thanks again Diane for the idea! Super cute!!

Update 10/20/2020: Watch my new video showing how to make this Sunburst pattern for a Halloween card!

Step 1. Supplies — Ink, Scissors, Tape Runner, Card base (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) , Black (5 1/4 x 4), White (5 x 3 3/4), Oval Stitched Die, Stampin’ Up set “Wishing You”, coordinating 6×8 paper pack
Step 2. Cut coordinating paper into 2×6 inch strips. Then cut in half from corner to corner.
Step 3. Find center of white cardstock. Glue down first triangle across the center of the paper.
Step 5. Leave a little 1/8″ inch gap between triangle pieces. Use contrasting colors and don’t use the same color next to each other.
Step 6. After adding all seven colors, flip over the card and trim away extra paper. Keep the scraps!
Step 7. Use two of the scraps to cover the last two corners. Trim off excess by flipping over the card.
Step 8. Stamp sentiment and die cut using Oval die.
Step 9. Get an assembly line going if you want to make a quick batch of Christmas cards!
