SheetLoad of Cards | January 2023

Happy New Year! A wonderful way to jumpstart the new year is to make a batch of beautiful cards. Let’s see if I make Happy Birthday, Valentine’s, or Thinking of You cards with this new SheetLoad of Cards design! And think I will use Gina K Designs Master Layout #7 dies.

Also created an inside white card with more stamps from the Simon Says Stamp set

My Process

Since I keep my tools near my desk, I am ready to create cards as soon as the next month’s SheetLoad comes out! I have my 6×6 and some 6×8 paper pads stored in these baskets. I have a bunch of packs for spring, Christmas, birthday, fall, winter, and summer, etc. Pull out some with heart patterns!

Once I picked my pretty patterned paper, I found coordinating solid cardstock for the layers of the card. I also decided to use bright red paper for the card base. I also decided to use my Gina K Designs slimline master layout #7 set to cut all my layers for the cards instead of following Crafty Al’s cutting instructions. Her card suggestion inspired this look for me.

Stamped sentiment and image using Gina K Amalgam ink, safe for alcohol markers
Used Gina K Designs Master Layout #7 for the Mini Slimline-sized cards
Used my Stampin’ Up Blends to add a little color to the puppy image
