Variety Haul & Paper Scraps for Card Making

Got a few new things in the mail today, that’s always fun to come home to see! Also, I wanted to reminder you about what to do with those pesky paper scraps for quick and easy card making!

Can’t wait to play with the new Stampin UP photopolymer stamp sets — “To a Wild Rose” and “Bloom & Grow”. Really loving nature sets like these two lately. The fonts are very unique and whimsical.

So excited that my Kiwi Lane order came so soon! I ordered “Chestnut Drive” as one of the scrapbook borders I have been looking at, and it’s on sale for $3 off. When I logged into place that order, I saw their video about a deal for past product Mystery Boxes. I think all the boxes were different, mine included paper pack from Kiwi Club April 2019 called “All things beautiful”, double layout paper kit called “The world is my playground“, card making set called “Tiny Nature” and cancer symbol “Stand Strong”. The club and paper kits both have ideas included that suggests which Kiwi Lane template to use, but they are all interchangeable. * At the time of this posting, the Mystery Boxes are still available!

I wanted to remind you about using your paper scraps for card making. We all have leftover paper after we cut something from our Cricut or making layouts. What to do with the scraps? Well, I have a fun way to trim them to 4×6 pieces that I arrange in my IRIS photo box that I can take on the go or leave near my desk. I recommend using Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock for card bases, and I keep a stack in my case tool. I love the Tonic Studio guillotine paper trimmer.
