The Big Reveal

Oh my gosh, I’m just so excited. The move was a lot of work, but it was so worth it. In less than 30 days, we found a place, made an offer, listed our condo for sale, packed and moved! It was a whirlwind. Here’s the new place!

There were times it was almost overwhelming. You’d open another closet and realize they is so much stuff to pack and move. What were we thinking? And at first it didn’t seem like we had that much stuff. I’m a pretty organized person, or so I thought. This was a true test!

So, again, as I like to share, some wisdom to consider:

  • Go through your crafting items often. If anything, you’ll come across something of use! And if you don’t use it, get rid of it. We took stuff to thrift stores, gave away to friends, and sold stuff at garage sales.
  • Keep items together that you use together. I have sewing, stamping, and scrapbooking uses for my items. If I keep the items together, I’m more apt to use them.
  • Don’t over buy. This is a very tough one, we see the new items and think we need it. If you are just buying and not using, then take a step back and examine your goals. You’ll be much happier if you have the items around you that inspire instead of zap your energy.
