When you sit down to make a card do you struggle to find a certain stamp set? If you are a card maker with lots of stamp sets here are a few tried and true methods to keep those sets organized and much easier to find!

I store my Stampin’ UP and Close to My Heart stamp sets in these DVD towers. The Stampin’ UP sets are alphabetical and the CTMH sets are in numerical order. I have the search inventory inside Evernote. (See my Evernote tutorial).

My other stamp sets — Gina K Designs, My Favorite Things, Pink & Main, Taylored Expressions, Local King, Tim Holtz, Simon Says, Rubbernecker, Ranger, Hero Arts, and Penny Black — are stored in these plastic bins. Most are arranged by THEME or SUBJECT. The Gina K Designs are stored together because they are multi-use for birthday, thanks, and congratulations.

I remove each stamp set from the plastic bag that it comes in and place it into these Avery Elle pockets. I include a label near the top of the envelope with the Company and stamp set. The green piece is printer paper that I have added so I can see the stamps in the clear pocket.
Avery Elle Pockets
These clear 50-pack pockets are great for storing Stamp Sets that do not come in a sturdy case like Stampin’ Up and Close to My Heart. I use these pockets when the stamps come in flimsy plastic wrap that rips easily when pulling out the stamp set. Love these pockets!
- SS-5001 Large 5 1/2″ x 7 3/8″
- SS-5002 Extra Large 6 3/4″ x 9 3/8″
There are other sizes of Avery Elle pockets, but I found I did not need the smaller ones for any of the sets that I was commonly purchasing.
