Stamp Block vs Misti vs Scan ‘N Cut

In this video, I wanted to show the different ways you can use your stamps and dies. Watch to learn more about stamp blocks, using a MISTI stamp positioner tool, and the Brother ScanNCut cutting machine.

Using a Stamping Block

Many times using a stamp block is quick and simple. You simply put your stamp onto a clear block, ink it up, and press onto your paper. To cut it out, you can fussy cut around the image or use a coordinating die to line up and cut using your Big Shot cutting machine.

Using a MISTI Stamp Positioning Tool

Using a MISTI is a very handy way to line up your stamps. MISTI stands for Most Interesting Stamping Tool Invented, or something like that. Many brands make a simple model. This tool allows you to re-stamp if you didn’t get the ink everywhere you needed it to stamp. In the video I show how to make a template or stencil to help you line up the stamp and the die.

Using a Brother Scan N Cut Machine

If you have many items to stamp and cut out, the Brother ScanNCut makes for a very quick process. Ok, now clearly this is my favorite! If you stamp all your images, you can quickly have the Brother ScanNCut scan the images and cut them out! So quick and easy!

So try all the methods and see what works for you! Here are some links to the products shown in the video. Hope this helps!
