Stampin’ Up
Stampin’ Up is my favorite solid 12×12 paper. It’s thick and solid color throughout it. It comes in a large variety of colors. But in the latest catalog, they do not have 12×12, just 8.5×11 size. And I understand because they are a stamp and card making company.
I’ll still purchase Stampin’ Up 8.5×11 paper for card making. You can also use their solid cardstock for matting photos. You can buy a variety pack of 12×12 cardstock for $12.75 for 20 sheets, 2 each of 10 colors.

- Smooth texture
- Large variety of colors, just cannot purchase 1 color packs
Close to My Heart (CTMH)
CTMH is probably the cheapest of the companies, but it has the white core. Now they offer that one side is a matching lighter tone. You get 24 sheets for only $16.95. So it’s a bonus that it includes two coordinating colors. There is a “variety bundle” that is $18.95 for 24 sheets, 2 of each color.
I like the CTMH cardstock …

American Crafts
I’ve seen packs of solid cardstock for sale on American Crafts called “AC Cardstock”. Their website contains many different companies products, including Bazzill brand cardstock. But I’ve seen it for sale in stores and at craft shows. The paper packs have several tones of a color inside a pack.
On their website today, I see they have a sale of 15% off. There are packs of 12×12 paper regularly 19.99 for 16.99 for 60 sheets of paper. That’s only $0.29 each!

Bazzill Cardstock
Bazzill makes a very high quality cardstock. They have the best selection of colors, and you can buy an entire pack of one color. So colors that you use most often, you can buy just that one color. You can buy a 25-pack of a solid color for $17.32.
