- Fit more pictures on your layouts by using smaller wallet size photos
- Use colorful pattern paper, see paper organization tips
- Include a title, the date, and try to include journal to tell the story
- The photos are the important part of the layout, but it’s fun to decorate with stickers, embellishments and fun paper
- Get colors for the papers from the colors in the photos
- Your style will change of the years, and the paper & supplies change over the years
