Must Haves
Bookcloth 12×12 Albums with page refills
My favorite scrapbook album is a 12×12 inch size. Creative Memories albums are a strap-hinge. The cover is made from bookcloth which is a plastic-like cover that is easy to keep clean. And I’ve never had one rip.
The page inserts are sold separately, I use 2 packs of 16 pages inside my books. Any more packs will make the album too heavy to comfortably flip through the pages.
The albums come in many different colors and are now a true 12×12 inch size. When Creative Memories first came out, the album pages were only 11.5 inches. I have used the new-sized 12×12 pages in the old albums, they come right to the edge and look fine.
Scissors
The Creative Memories micro-tip scissors are comparable to Fiskars 5-inch non-stick craft scissors. Fiskars scissors run $12+ and Creative Memories are currently $10.50!
Tape Runner with Refills
Now you know that I’m a huge fan of these tape runners because you can refill them. I’ve used the Tombow brand for years, so I’m testing out these made by Creative Memories. They come in permanent, repositionable, vellum, and maximum strength – yikes!
